Stonehouse is
an award-winning journalist whose writing has appeared
in newspapers in Europe, Australia and throughout North
America. He has been freelancing since 1999, after more
than a decade of working on staff at daily newspapers across
Canada covering every facet of society including politics,
legal affairs, health and education. As a freelancer,
he has continued his tradition of writing and reporting on
a wide spectrum of issues: national politics for CanWest News
Service, features for the Globe & Mail, science and health
for the Ottawa Citizen, technology for the Sydney Morning Herald.
He lives on Canada's east coast with his fiancée, Kara,
their two dogs and a crazy cat named Jack.
